no hot water from baxi duo tec?

i can only get hot water from my baxi duo tec 28 he if i reduce the mains in pessure if i leave the the main at at full presure witch is just over 5 bar the water heats to about 40 deg then the burner cuts out then comes on again when the temp has gone down to 30 deg with reduced pressure the water heats up but the flow is low any ideas please

Have you gas pressure checked had the same fault and that was the cause

has the restricter been placed on the dhw mains to the boiler?
sounds like its just getting too much water flow

what is the delta-t temp compared to maufacturuers instructions? (most only give 35 degs) and have you checked your flow and temp with a weir gauge to check what the flow is?
