smeg dishwasher heating problems?

please help as I have an smeg d1612ca dishwaher that works perfectly exept the water is cold i have changed the heating element but it still does not heat up.

Hi, We have the same problem with a whirlpool, it goes through all the motions, just without heating the water. The problem has been attributed to the PCB (brains of the m/c) being faulty. To replace one on a whirlpool it is about £150.
