How to fix my acoustic?

Is their any other way than sending my acoustic 1973 Sunburst guitar to Ovation for repairs, if the wood (on the front face of the guitar) has totally seperated from the bottom rounded edge of the guitar? I have already brought it to two music repair shops where I live in Hawaii only for both owners to tell me they can't fix it due to not having the proper equipment. Any advice??

I have been repairing guitars over 15 years now and can tell you that repairing accoustics is the hardest job as you first need to build a setting jig, as you can't just use clamps, secondly the glue used on the accoustics is very expensive in fact unless you have £150:00p to spend on the guitar plus postage that's the type of price your looking at to get it professionally repaired. If the guitar was made in the sixties or before then by all means get it repaired but is it's only a few years old sell it at auction for spares you may receive about £30 to £50 all the best Vince. Hope this helps?
