How can I repair a ding in fret?

Guitar has fallen against a hard surface and now have a string groove which is such that a bend is impossible. Is there something I can do for a decent DIY repair? It's a USA Tele and only 2 years old. Help!

Here's how I fixed this when it happened to me: I teased out the "dinged fret" and swapped it for the last fret on the guitar. This was left a tad short - on the bass side, but as I would never normally play on fret 22 on the thickest (low E) string, this solved the problem. To replace and reseat the frets, I held the frets in place with a tiny drop of supe glue at each end holding down 'til set, then did the other side. If ness., I can touch a soldering iron here to release these later, as it shatters the glue beneath the stuck fret without doing other damage (wood or fret). Hope this helps.
