How can I fix my Epson R220 printer?

I am receiving a false paper jam indication. When I first turn on the printer, the green power light is on, with no other light flashing, and appears to be good to go. When I attempt to print, the paper travel down part way, stops, and the paper jam light flashes. I then eject the paper, and the light continues to flash. If I now shut off the printer and turn back on again, the green power light is on, indicating good to go again. And so it goes, on and on again. I am no longer able to print a page!!!
However, I am able to print a nozzle check, so the nozzles are ok. I love this printer, and hate to give up, but maybe it's time to call it a day and throw it away.
Can anyone offer assistance? It would sure be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi Barry, did you get an answer, mine is doing exactly the same thing. I have even changed to a new CISS system thinking that may have been the problem. CISS is from Nexxtech (The Source).
