fault with hotpoint washing machine wf321?

I bought my washing machine nearly 2 years ago i am having problems when it is on a spin cycle, the noise is unbelievably loud, if you spin the drum washer being empty it doesn't move round freeley & the last wash i did you could smell burning.

I've had the same problem but mine was only 11 months old. luckily bearing - drum unit was replaced under warranty - good luck
