washing machine kenmore 70 series?

my kenmore 70 series washing machine fills and agitated fine , however when time for the spin and rinse cycle it just stops like it is finished. I had to syphon the water out and go to the laundry matt.

If you have a bad lid switch it will not drain or spin.
