stopping internet connection?

I am using BT broadband for a few years now but recently I have a problem with my connection. If the phone rings while I am on the internet I am cut off most times and I have to reconnect again.I have ADSL filters fitted to all phone points which are supposed to stop me losing connection.Has anyone else suffered this problem.I am using a HP Pavilion computer.

You may need to have an adsl filter box fitted by BT. Sometimes the signal is too scruffy for domestic filters to clean up properly, causing the network carrier to drop out. (especialy as more people sign up to the line).
