i have an indesit 'evolution WE16' washing machine. the display say F-08 when put on a wash longer than the daily wash cycle. i have been told this is the heating element but have since found this not the case. what does the F-08 mean and what can i do to solve this.

whoever told you that it was the element was on the right track, F08 means that the "heater relay cannot be activated" but this is only a guide for the engineers and the actual cause could be in other area's. I would go to www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk and ask there
