whats wrong with my washer dryer Indesit WD 12X?

The programme selector keeps on turning i have turned the machine off like the instructions say but still keeps on happening. does anyone have any idea what this can be and is it worth fixing.

My dryer door wasn't closeting propley but I put something against it and it was fine but now it's makes a noise to come on but that is it . Any ideas what's wrong
