Block Paving around House?

I am constantly cleaning the paving and scraping out weeds from the joints. I high pressure jet the paving which brings it up like new, I then have to re-sand the joints but within weeks weeds start to grow from the sand. Can I seal the paving or treat it to stop this problem

Grass seeds will grow almost anywhere they can get water and air - they grow with enormous force and can break concrete. Moss will almost certainly be a future problem on the surface - make a long handled tool with a stiff wire brush on the end - this is to be used lightly on the surface of the brick joint to ride of the moss - be sure not to disturb the sand in the joint or your excellent filling will be damaged.
Personally I use a blow lamp but my neighbour uses caustic soda solution.
However well the brickwork is laid some weeding will always be needed.

After you have pressure washed the drive, leave it to completely dry out then re sand it, make sure to really work the kiln dried sand into the joints well. Use a proprietory drive sealer and spray on a coat, once dry apply a second coat, job done :)
