How can I fix my Technics SA-CH550 Tuner/Amp?

The Tuner/Amp is actually working OK But the LCD(?) display has faded, It is still just there but can only be seen in a very dark room.

hi no display on my tuner on off button doesn't work have changed on off switch no go cd and cassette play good but no radio or phono I have the manual so part no's ok please help frustated

my stereo amplfier the technics sa-ch550 in the off position their is a e flashing on and off i don't know why its doing that and when i connect it through my tv or my blueray dvd the sound is dead rumbly it will not play clear i have trie'd everything but no difference

I have a similar problem with my CH550 aplifier. All the other displays are fine but the amplifier has gone really pale.

sounds like some resistance has gone high or a duff cap if your no good with a meter get to the repair shop
