My fridge frosts up behind the inside panel so much that it prevents the fan from working noiselessly. After defrosting manually the problem settles but recurs after a week. Why is there build up of ice ? Can anybody help?

Hi, we had same problem with ours 2 years ago, we had it repaired which cost 150.00, the problem is the insulation around the evaporator starts getting wet and expanding causing the fan too catch, ours is just going wrong again! we are currently trying to find the part to replace it ourselves, but it seems to be discontinued , we recently ordered an alternative but the fittings were different, will let you know the outcome cheers Debbie
