Sharp VL-Z1 Viewcam Z problem?

When i put in certain video cassettes that worked before, I cannot play, rewind or record. The camcorder just says "Eject cassette". How do I fix this? My niece's 1st birthday is on there.

make sure tape is not rewound to end & not jammed..try winding with a pencil,old tapes sometimes get stiff to wind & that error occurs
