HALSTEAD ACE HE30?

WHEN TURNING ON HOT WATER, BOILER WILL OFTEN CUT OFF AFTER 30 SECONDS OR LESS AND THEN FIRE UP AGAIN AFTER 2 MINUTES OR MORE OF RUNNING WATER. WHICH IS IRRITATING AND A WASTE OF WATER. ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

its either a faulty dhw thermister (thinks the water is boiling)
or a problem with scale/sludge in the plate to plate heat exchanger
