I have a Singer Model G963564 that the Tension on the Bobbin is of?

How do I fix the Bobbin tension on my old G Model Singer. I know that the it is set at the factory can I set it my self. By turning the tension screw my self. Also how do I check the timing off my Machine?

Hello Brenda,
I think that might be the serial number not the model number, the model number is usually under the stitch length dial or lever, you can adjust the tensions yourself, if you have a numbered tension unit it should be between 4 and 6, you will soon know if the timing is out because it will not pick up the stitches or miss stitches but make sure you have the needle in the correct way round and a new needle, if it is possible for you to e-mail a picture I could help you even more.
