Leaking overflow pipe?

How do I fix my leaking overflow pipe? I think it is something to do with the ball valve overfilling?

I'm not looking for a plumbing solution. I just googled Ryan Shelford: I'm looking for a good farrier, in Greenvale Melbourne. Last time Ryan was booked to do my horses feet (abt 5 years ago), he didn't show because he had an accident. Is that you? Are you better?
cheers

i've just mended mine by putting a new washer into the section that holds arm that holds the ballcock. But make sure you do not loose the plastic pin that touches the washer when taking out the old washer, because that is what happened to me. It does not overflow anymore.

well what you can do is bend the bar that holds the ball valve in place if you bend the bar towards the water so the ball valve is closer to the floor, it will stop sooner than b4 only do little bends at a time the other way is to see if you have a ajuster on or around the ball valve hope this helps
