its a series 80 kenmore?

it washes fine but when it gets to the spin cycle it starts making a humming noise and it won't drain the water from the tub

Hello,

The washer has to drain before it can spin so I would start a no drain problem by checking for a kinked drain hose or something binding the pump or drain hose.
