Yes , this is the Serial Number for decoding but unfortunately it`s one of the Ford FIC American Radios and I don`t think anyone on these free Help Boards can decode these ( I know I can`t) . According to my information it CAN be decoded using the Serial Number so try one of the "professionals" on Ebay or search via Google. It won`t be free though.

Are you sure there are no numbers on the casing beginning with M******?
