My TomTom one N E will not start up and flashes an X in the bottom right?
I tried to load TomTom media player and celebrity voices and it keeps telling me I have an errors on the TomTom drive and now my computer will not see it like it did before and comes up as drive F and not the two hands icon like it used to do. I tried to format and it could not complete for some reason and need help. I can't look into any files and is not recognized.
Sorry this is not an answer, I have had exactly the same problem with my XL Live and have had to send it in to be repaired. Apparently there is no other way round it! Very frustrating just before Christmas!!

same here...friend tried to update tomtom one 2nd ed with new maps...it crashed during update and now comes up with cross flashing in bottom left on power up, asks to format device and not recognised by PC as a tomtom...?? tomtom home does not recognise it so cannot backup or restore...anyone any solutions.....thanks shaun :)
