GlowWorm Compact 80e, leaking DHW Micro Switch?

Hi,

I have Glowworm Compact 80e that has a leaking DHW Micro Switch. I opened it and cleaned the red washer on micro switch and the securing clip (which is rusted), put it back but it still leaks. The boiler works perfectly and I think the leak is from between micro switch and diaphragm assembly.

Now my question is should there be water coming towards the micro switch ? Is the diaphragm faulty or is it just the washer on micro switch and securing clip worn out ? Should I just replace the micro switch and securing clip and the leak stops or is the diaphragm damaged and lets water through towards the switch and this should be replace ?

Many thanks,

A.

its the membrane cover that is leaking through the centre spindle, best thing to do is get a new membrane and cover and new flow switch should set u back about £30 but well worth it
