can i add an amplifier to a ford 6000 cd radio headset?

Can i add an amplifier to a ford 6000 cd headset, i've taken it out, no pre outs on the back. it does have a multichanger facility. is there anything on the market that will convert this to rca leads?

Hi Phil, if you want to run an amp you will have to fit a standard head unit with the required line out connectors, you can buy fascia adapters to convert from the double DIN ford unit to single DIN. The changer connector will not help you as it's for audio input from the changer.
