Leaking Gauge on Ideal Classic FF250?

Hi all

When i turn on the boiler after a while there is a drip of water coming out of the gauge at the top. The dial appears to be working on this.

Any ideas on what i can do to fix? Is it something i need a professional to do (probably best)

If its the part any idea where i can get one (In Ireland)

The make and model is as below:
Make: Ideal Standard.
Model: CLASSIC LXFF & FF
Boiler Sive: FF250

Can you help please? Regards, Peter

Hi Peter,

The gauge will have to be replaced, cant put my hand on the manual at the minute to get you out the part number (if you have the installation manual there it will be in the back of it)

Ideal parts can be had from your nearest Heatmerchants (maybe not stock item, but the can get it for you)

I am Ireland based (Dublin/Meath/Louth) so if you need anything further and are in my area just mail me tony@oilburnerservices.com

btw....first Irish post I have seen here......!
