Is the 'swivel' stand on a 32LG6000 television removable? I thought it better to find out before I purchase one to hang on the wall.

Yes. It comes 'flat packed': i.e. the stand is not attached.

It uses the Euro-Vesa bracket fitting; 4 bolts set 100mm (vert) x 200mm (horiz).

It does look great 'floating in space'
