Dropped console. Now power switch is no longer sprung -- freely moves back and forth. Will not turn on. Something rattles inside. Is it possible to open it up to see if something (like a spring) on the swtich can be reconnected?

you can by the tri screwdriver for the ds off ebay for 99p. you may beable to see whats wot then. but u do need a really tiny phillips screwdriver too to open the battery pack so you can then open more tri screws.

it has an smt capacitor or resistor near the power switch that ussually what get loose it happen to mine, well mine had an extra problem a small fuse also gone bad on mine
