the error code is infact a corrupted memory card error. it seems strange that the error message is happening on a new card so the best thing to do is find out if the card is a fake or not by checking the status of the MagicGate. if it says MagicGate supported its a genuine card and just needs formatting via the PC first. if it says MagicGate unknown or unsupported then its a fake and needs sending back to the seller/retailer.
