Tricity Bendix DH090 Dishwasher stops 2 minutes into each wash cycle. Before stopping, the unit is swishing water about then nothing. (Power light stays on). I've tried replacing the program unit - not worked. Anyone else worked this one out?

I've had the exact same thing, just stripped the old machine down, cleaned all pipes out and disconnected and reconnected all electrical connection points(just to ensure good connection). Starting up again now, empty, on ECO wash...
...after all that, nothing... Hear it pumping out water, then flicks the soap tray open, pause, then ...
strike that, it's working. Guess it's been that long since it last worked that I'd forgotten how long it takes to cycle. Hurrah. Time for a pint.

What ck said. Disconnect the power, turn off the water supply, lay the machine on its side, and remove the bottom cover. Unclip the tubes, and clean them out. I actually blew mine out, but it can be a bit yucky if you're not careful. A pipe-cleaning brush would be best really. Reassemble and try. Worked for me, with identical problem.

Probably the main impeller motor won't start. I stripped mine down to the impeller from the inside (4 screws & various plastic bits) and could make it rotate at the appropriate time in the cycle(very dangerous!! - use a stick to flick it round, not your fingers) but it won't start by itself, so it stops when the controller moves on. So I'm fairly sure my similar problem is the motor. I'm planning on taking the motor out, seeing if I can jig the brushes if it has any, or buy a new one - hope this helps.

have you cleaned the bottom loop hose out and cleaned the syphon tubes in the dishwasher sump?.blockages in these would cause you problem
