Usual story - battery died, been without radio for *ever*.

R reg fiesta. Model # 3000, no make (just says Ford Audio Systems), Serial # M250009

I am really grateful if anyone can take the time to help me out :)

Abe - they can indeed - for £15. They don't tend to request proof of ownership when it is firmly attached to the rest of the car ;)

If you go to your local Ford dealer with proof of ownership, they should be able to look up the code for you - assuming it's the original radio.
