i inserted a disk into my dvd meant for a computer. the dvd player tries to load it but freezes .pressing the open button does nothing. unplugging the dvd and turning it on again causes the dvd to try load again then it freezes again turning its self off, ie completely dead (no lights)

UN-PLUG FOR 5 MINS THEN RECONECT WHILE HOLDING IN THE EJECT BUTTON FOR 15 SECONDS THIS SHOULD RELEASE THE DISC

keep pressing the eject button or try pressing the dvd/hdd button and ejecting at the same time.
