How do I video Setanta?

Can you help me, my dad put a card into his Telly and receives Setanta channels but can not video them. He connects via scart but gets a blank screen on playback. If he tries to also video freeview he gets a normal channel????

That can only be done if the TV can output via its SCART connector. Look at the TV's manual but most can't do it.
