T.V. Will Not stay on?

When I first turn the t.v on it comes on for a split second then goes off. sometimes i can unplug it and put it back in and it will work for a while

check the wires in the plug first and make sure the fuse is held well and not loose after that it's in the set it will be bad solder joints
