How can I fix my phillips magnavox 26" tv? there is no sound!?

I turned my tv on one day and there was no sound. everything else is working well. there is just NO sound at all

First check if your TV is one "MUTE". This can be done by pressing the MUTE button on your remote.
Then try to read the manual if this doesnt work.
