turn on receiver in any mode works fine for 30sec then switches back to standby, checked speaker connections

Have a very similar problem with the same amp.. was using it a few days ago but after some time it just turned off.. now whenever I turn it on it stays on for a few seconds and goes back into standby :/ any help on how I can solve this problem? thx if so can u pls email me on davidkil01@hotmail.com help GREATLY appreceated thx

dennis, have you managed to get any answer on this: my 925rds has just started doing this. Boots up and i can select various surround modes but not volume etc then reverts to standby. Cleaned out and no obvious damage to componets... jt
