How can I block certain websites?

My family's computer is broken, so everyone in my family is trying to use my computer, and I am never getting a chance to go on the computer. I want to control what my family can't go on by blocking certain sites that only I can access. How do you block certain websites?

It's Restricted Sites, not "sights". BTW, that's for IE.

You can also use a HOSTS file, Spyware Blaster and/or Spybot Search & Destroy (both of which have LOTS of malware site lists that can be blocked via the built-in HOSTS file).

Add them to RESRICTED SIGHTS in IE. Full path www.blahdeblah.com

Internet Explorer / tools / internet options / privacy / edit / add in there....

You can censor which material your family can see using products like Net Nanny (www.netnanny.com). These will automatically block access to certain websites. I expect that you can also manually provide a list of websites which will also be blocked.

This may mean you get more time on your PC, but the two aren't necessarily related problems.
