how do I add a 10% discount button on to a samsung 5200m cash register, we want to give our workers a 10% discount on all the items they buy from us

Hi Rob.
There should be a button called %1 on your keyboard. If not, then you may need to allocate one.
The easiest way is just to give a 10 percent disc using the manual entry, so you ring on an item, then type 10 and then press the %1 button. This will take 10 percent off the item. Some machines will only let you discount the complete sale, in which case, you would ring all the items on, then press SUBTOTAL, then type 10 and press the %1 button to take 10 percent off of the total sale.
It is possible to set a fixed 10 percent disc, but you may not be able to give other discounts if you do it this way.
