how can i fix it?

I have aRover 416 N reg Automatic, I need to change the water pump but do i need to change cambelt to get to it
on this model?

The cambelt drives the water pump, so while you've got it stripped down it would be good practice to replace the belt and tensioner save doing it all over again in six months when the belt snaps!
