How do you get water to distribute evenly around the rim?

Hi, I have 3 Ideal Standard dual flush toilets all with the same problem. None of them distribute the water evenly around the toilet rim. Only half the bowl is flushed and the front of the bowl doesn't have any water coming down at all. It's so disgusting and I am really fed up of dirty, smelly toilets. Any suggestions greatfully received.

The only real answer is to change the bowl for another make. the fault lies in the manufacture and kiln firing of the clay. Cheaper bowls are made outside of the UK specifications for flushing. Older bowls used in hard water areas are prone to limescale build up in the tiny flush vents around the rim.
