Shower flicking mains fuse off?

Hi had a electric Hotpoint shower for approx 2 years, no probs, suddenly started turning off the mains fuse, thought it was faulty so bought a new Creda shower, but still doing same, funny thing is it does not turn off when on lower setting ie, economy, any ideas?, thanks, Jean

I think it is the shower pull cord, if the contacts are dirty/worn it will trip the breaker ,in your case only when full power is drawn it is enough to trip.Replace this pull cord switch.
