How do I get a tape out of my stereo on my Bimmer?

I have a cassette tape stuck in my 2000 540 BMW. It will play fine but it won't eject the tape when the button is depressed. The display shows 'tape error' and I can't find any reset location.

if you have the radio code remove from dashboard ,dismantle case to remove tape & check mechanism
