How do i disconnect room thermostat from Glow worm 38 CXI boiler?

Is there anybody out there who can answer, what i feel will be a simple question please? How do i disconnect the room thermostat from my Glow Worm 38 CXI boiler. I have thermostats on all radiators. I disconnected the thermostat at the thermostat and now the heating side of the boiler won't fire up. The hot water seems okay. Or is the room thermostat actually required?
Thanks in anticipation.
Regards.

if u think of it another way, you disconnected a 'switch' that switches you boiler on and of as required!.....

if u really want to dispense with it (I agree with Iain below) just like the common and switched lives in the switch....hence joining them, nno more switching, just boiler on.....watch your fuel bills go up!

you shouldn't really have thermostats on every rad either. good practice you should have at least one on normal shields and preferably the same where the room stat is

supposed to have room stat as its classed as a boiler inter-lock, it will physically cut live supply to boiler when satisfied.

part of building regs
