All courdless phone (4) throughout the house. Pick up any receiver and begin to talk, all you can hear is loud static. Sometimes it may take as much as 20 seconds before it happens, but it does happen.

Static can be a number of things. The first thing to try would be to unplug all but one phone and see if it still has the static on it. If it doesn't, then one of your other phones are the culpret. If it still has static, then try another one and if still static, there is a problem with the wiring: eather breaking open, wet, or shorting out. Good luck
