how to fix Kenmore 80 series washer?

My Kenmore 80 Series washer model #110.26832690, will not spin or agitate.It will fill and drain. What is the problem & how do I fix it? This is a Heavy Duty, Super Capacity Plus, Quiet Pak machine any HELP is appreciated!

yes, it hums. I hear the electricity trying to make it start, but it is a very low hum of electricity sound.
