6 CD player for ford focus '53 plate?

I can put the CD's in but I can't play anything as it sends an error report, E 4.
Any ideas?

Hi Aly, code E4 is focus error and it means either the "CD" is dirty or the CD is upside down!! try using a "cd" lense cleaner woolworths £4.99 and see if it improves, if not it means a new unit!!
