Hopoint larder fridge thermostat?

Hi

Can you help the capiluary tube on the replacment themostat seems too long what should I do with the excess I have just made a loop around the back of the cooling plate.

to long a capillary will mean the fridge will take to long to switch off,suspect wrong stat here.........overfreezing you might be lucky and be able to turn it down .

Your right. Just make it into a coil or loop so that it lies flat with the back of the fridge where it is not going to be trapped or damaged when you push the fridge back into place.
Dont let it make contact with the cooling radiator loops and fins else vibration between the two will eventually result in a failure
