Squeaky bathroom extractor fan?

I'm trying to work out if my bathroom extractor fan (which is on the same circuit as the light) is worth trying to fix or not. It's making an almighty squeaking sound, and sounds like it needs oiling. I thought about squirting some WD40 in its direction but didn't want to blow myself up if a spark caught.

Any thoughts? And if it does need replacing would an electrician do this for me?

Thanks for the reply ute. I'm going to go ahead and change it. On the outer casing there's no indication of the make. Does it matter if the replacement isn't the same make and model? It looks like it's a 100 axial fan (from what I can glean from googling fans!).

sound like its the bearing and to be honest its not worth bothering with they are fairly standard items and cheep enough so i would change it
