Are you sure it only screeches on emptying and not when the drum is turning ? If the latter, then it could be bearings, or a coin, or an under wire or similar, caught between the inner and outer drum. If it only screeches when emptying , without the drum turning, then a coin , hair clip or similar is caught in the drain pump. The pump is located either at the front or rear of the machine , just trace back the corrugated drain hose. Most pumps are connected to the main drum by circular hose clips and to the machine base by either two 10mm nuts or plastic sharks teeth, depress the teeth. Please unplug the machine before starting , and if you cannot syphon out the drum water then have plenty of towels handy. A wet Vax machine is easier still to suck up the water spill.
