Braun Electric toothbrush does not charge when plugged into mains, it's brand new and was given as a present so can't be returned. The green indicator light does not come on even though various plug adaptors have been tried.
Any help will be appreciated...
I'm having the same problem. I bought it a long time ago but don't have a razor point in my bathroom so waited until I got around to buying an adapter. When I started using it about a week ago it charged fine and worked great but now it won't charge :-( I can't take it back because I bought it so long ago! Any suggestions. It is a braun oral-b and only has one button for off and on.

I am having a problem charging mine too, was told to send it back to braun and they would fix it, what am I supposed to do til then?? Friend gave me one of her chargers.....it worked for a month and then stopped charging again, its a waste of money

ALL basic nonsense! You CANNOT charge electricity through PLASTIC. I recently bought a toothbrush from Braun and it does not charge - impossible.

I have the exact same problem with brand new ORal B 3709 type. Will not charge, no light, have tried several adapters including 1amp for shavers only no joy.
I tried Jason's number, not in service, at a loss as what to do next.

I have plugged my tooth brush into adapter/charger, however this does not charge. Green light does not appear. Which type of adapter do you recommend.

I had the same problem, then realised that I forgot to switch OFF my tooth brush after the last use.
There should 2 buttons provided on it's handle, one is to switch it ON and other one is to switch it OFF, you just need to switch it OFF.
I hope it will start charging again.
