when i removed bottom of unit, the coil came out. The 2 solder connections for the coil are fine.The circuit board has 3 solder connectionon it. To the right the 2 wires for the coil, then far left is wire thats off. I cant see where this wire would be used. if anyone can help . thank you george

You might have thrown away your toothbrush by now, but here goes! I happen to be replacing the re-chargeable batteries in my Braun type 4713; if yours is similar then the 3rd, thicker wire goes to the tag on top of the top battery. Let us all know if you get it working again!
