when my epsom says "maintenance is required" what can I do?
Epson bulid software into their printers to tell the user that "maintenance is required" but you can do this yourself with a little know how and save yourself some money. says aj. does antone know how or what to de?

You have to clean or renew the ink pads at the back of the printer after removing the cover - these are the parts that need maintenance !
There is a counter program inside the printer and when it reaches 8300, the printer will not work and this is when you get the maintenance required message...
You have to reset the counter before the printer will work OK again and this is what the software does - downlaod it from here... cheaper than taking it to an Epsom dealer then be
pursuaded to buy a new printer... http://www.ianwillis.co.uk/c42/

*Bay for a small fee (less than £1) that will supposedly help with you computer service problem.
