I moved the needle bar because my machine is skipping stitches. It started suddenly. I've tried stretch needles, etc. I now use only 90/14 sharp + 40 wt. thread & cotton patches. I have (3) T&S bobbin cases. Cannot remember which one is the original. One of them has a "B" on the back [tiny]. Anyway, it may be that the machine is out of time. I've tried both tension adjustments. No go. I tried moving the needle bar up and down..no go. Now, does anyone have a schematic or website that would help me re-time the 600 T&S myself, please? I only have screwdrivers and pliers. What tools will I need to time the Singer 600 Touch & Sew?
Hello Rich,
If you e-mail me I will attach full timing instructions for you, you should never alter the needle bar, you will have to get that back in the correct place first.
